This morning, Xbox announced Xbox Game Pass Core, an evolution of Xbox Live Gold, launching on September 14. For over 20 years, Xbox Live has been connecting gamers to play competitive and cooperative online multiplayer games.

As we continue our commitment to give players more choice and value, Xbox Game Pass Core will bring online play together with Game Pass and a select collection of over 25 games, starting with titles including Gears 5, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Grounded, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited and more. New titles will be added 2-3 times a year.

Xbox Game Pass Core members will have access to our multiplayer network and exclusive member deals & discounts, all for $10.95 AUD per month or $79.95 AUD per year. With high-quality games from Xbox Game Studios and content partners, there is something for everyone to play on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. Current Xbox Live Gold members will not need to make any adjustments to their account and everything will be updated automatically at launch.
