In 2024, the Warcraft universe will celebrate some major milestones, and all adventurers of Azeroth are invited to celebrate throughout the year, including the Hearthstone 10th anniversary in March, and both the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary and the Warcraft universe’s 30th anniversary in November!
To get a taste of what’s to come, the World of Warcraft development team has shared some initial plans for the year ahead.
In the blog, World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale reflects on 2023 and shares what the future has in store for both modern and WoW Classic. Early next year, players can look forward to:
- Dragonflight Seeds of Renewal (10.2.5)
- Follower dungeons
- Dragonflight epilogue quests
- Explore and test out additional features on the Public Test Realm, now live
- Cataclysm Classic Beta
- Signups are open today!
- Season of Discovery: Phase 2
- Level 40 Level Cap with Gnomeregan as the new level-up raid and Stranglethorn Vale as the new world PvP location.
- Hardcore Realms: Solo Self-found Mode
