Ahead of more details on what’s to come in Battlefield 2042 Season 2, the development team has shared a video discussing what the future holds for Battlefield 2042, laying the groundwork for improvements in core gameplay, maps, and experiences & modes, as well as offering an early peek at upcoming content.

The topics discussed include the reworking of the Renewal and Orbital maps, as well as the role and look of Specialists in the game. Stemming from player feedback, the team is investing into an evolution of Specialists, connecting them to the well-known class system from previous Battlefield titles.
