During the demo event, players will be able to jump online*** and splat it out in 4-on-4 Turf War battles with friends and other players who own the full game. Players can also try out Ranked Battles and the Salmon Run co-op mode. Not only will players have the chance to splat their hearts out during the demo period, they can also activate a seven-day free trial**** for Nintendo Switch Online. To activate the free trial, players should visit Nintendo eShop on their Nintendo Switch console and go to the ‘Nintendo Switch Online’ section to get started.
Players will also be able to save 33% on Splatoon 2 until Wednesday, 6th May at 23:59 AEST so you can keep on splatting. The progress players make during the demo event will even carry over to the full game, once purchased.
