September 20, 2019 — Today, Ubisoft Australia announced a donation of over $30,000 to R U OK? from all ticket’s sales proceeds for the first ever ‘Ubisoft Experience’ event. Held at the UNSW Roundhouse in Sydney over the weekend of September 14-15, the Ubisoft Experience was a one-of-a-kind celebration giving the community an opportunity to experience and play upcoming and classic games, watch elite esports, attend informative panels, participate in competitions and meet Ubisoft development teams from around the world.
Mindfreak were crowned the champions of the Rainbow Six Siege ‘Ubisoft Experience Charity Clash’, held at the event, against some of the top local teams in the league.
Ubisoft Australia and New Zealand’s Managing Director Edward Fong said, “We are so grateful to everyone from the community who attended over the weekend and helped us raise such a significant amount for such a worthwhile cause. The Ubisoft Experience has proven yet again that our community is among the most passionate in the world!”
