Bandai Namco Europe released today the Nintendo Switch version for SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS. After a successful release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019, the wide virtual world of Sword Art Online invites players to the “Underworld” in this faithful adaptation of the Sword Art Online Alicization anime series.

Players will take Kirito again on adventures from the series with intense combat and action-packed scenes with Eugeo, Alice, Administrator and many more fan favourites characters by their side. Supervised by renowned author Reki Kawahara as well, an original story line was added to the manga canon narrative. Players will meet and team up with Medina, heiress of the Orthinanos disgraced family, and intends to clear her name by becoming an Integrity Knight.

SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS follows the recurring themes of the JRPG genre with engaging narrative and complex characters while embracing the medieval-fantasy world of the Alicization canon, with players yielding great swords, meeting knights, and facing mythical creatures.

SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS is available now on Nintendo Switch and includes the four first “Ancient Apostles” free update contents.
