The Defeat Cancer Apex Tournament brings together the APEX streaming community and pairs them with big-name streamers on Twitch. Streamers who are behind the campaign to beat cancer include the likes of LoserFruit, TruNoom, Berticuss, Genburten, GammaLnkk, Fasffy, Aliythia and Devi who have a combined following of 3.1 million followers.

THE LINE-UP INCLUDES:

Each streamer will be raising money for cancer research via the GenerOZity platform with all donations going to Cure Cancer.

Streamers will compete to be the last man standing and prizes provided by partners Logitec, Blue Mic, MSI and GGWP Academy will incentivise fundraising throughout the tournament.

Descry was diagnosed with Ollier’s Disease an incurable rare skeletal condition that affects just 1 in 100,000 people globally. His aim is to “raise money for Cure Cancer by everyone fundraising while streaming the event and having fun together.

“Many of us know someone in our close circle who has battled with cancer or had tumours. It’s sadly such a common thing and we should be doing everything we can to save lives. It might even save mine at some point.” – Chris ‘Descry’
