PWR To ‘Pop-Up’ To The Public During PAX Aus 2022

PWR, the global leader in creating and developing entertainment in online gaming, has released its official PAX Aus schedule featuring talent activations and competitive tournaments on site at PAX Aus and its first in-person events off-site on Saturday 8 October in Melbourne. To celebrate the in-person events, PWR is bringing exciting activations to reconnect with fans and industry participants after PAX Aus being postponed for two years in a row.

Open to the public, PWR is looking forward to welcoming ultimate fans, PAX attendees, friends and family of PWR, industry participants, other creators, and pro gamers to ‘The PWR Pop-Up’ on Saturday 8 October. The public event is a chance for people to purchase PWR Supply apparel and experience all things PWR during the weekend of Australia’s biggest events for the gaming industry.

All guests of the public Pop-Up experience will have the opportunity to meet and get a photo with a PWR creator or player, have access to purchase exclusive PWR Supply apparel and purchase a PWR Pack gift on arrival including a bag, stickers, poster, and more. Lucky guests will also get the opportunity to play Fortnite, Fall Guys or Rocket League on the 1v1 gaming stations and grab a signature from a PWR creator or player.

Founder of PWR and the online content creator and gaming personality, Lachlan Power, will be making an appearance at the Pop-Up event to meet, greet and verse fans:

“We’re excited to have a physical presence in Melbourne during the PAX Aus weekend after two years in a row of event cancellations. Having this Pop-Up event and being able to meet with our awesome fans and connect with industry pros, is so exciting for PWR as we are continuing to foster a community of up-and-coming content creators and players.”

For key industry participants and talent to network and celebrate gaming, PWR will be hosting a private industry event following the Pop-Up activation. Creators, pros, and all of those on the exclusive ‘After Dark’ guest list, will walk the yellow carpet to experience flowing food and drinks, mega party games from PWR pong, arcade machines and giant Jenga, and playoff on the 1v1 gaming station.

Rivalry, the esports betting platform made by gamers for gamers, will be the presenting partner for the ‘PWR After Dark’ event. Steven Salz, Co-Founder & CEO of Rivalry said

“Supporting and giving back to the esports and gaming community in Australia is a priority for us at Rivalry. Since inception, Rivalry’s DNA globally is anchored in supporting grassroots communities everywhere we go. We’re very excited to work with and support an established esports org and lifestyle brand like PWR on this event, and look forward to seeing some of the best talent in gaming come together.”

PWR’s in-person events have been made possible by a number of additional key sponsors including Rivalry, Red Bull, HyperX, LG Ultragear and Intel with Rivalry presenting a $5,000 gaming inspired tournament during PWR’s private industry event.
