Numskull Designs have today announced plans to release a range of statues based on the KONAMI survival horror franchise Silent Hill starting with the iconic Bubble Head Nurse from Silent Hill 2.
Often cited as one of the greatest horror games ever made, Silent Hill 2 was originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001 – the game was well received by critics and fans alike and had sold over one million copies within a month of its release. The game centres on James Sunderland, a widower who journeys to the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his dead wife informing him that she is waiting there for him.
In Silent Hill 2, the Bubble Head Nurse is a sinister female monster manifested from James Sunderland’s subconscious. This high-quality statue has been produced in conjunction with KONAMI and stands at nine inches tall. The statue comes with all the finishing touches that fans would expect to see, including her dirtied nurse outfit, metal pipe weapon, thin liquid trapped mask and iconic stance. This super exclusive collector’s item is a must-have for any fan of the Silent Hill franchise.
