Minecraft is partnering with Sega to release a Sonic the Hedgehog DLC pack in the Minecraft Marketplace as part of the blue blur’s 30th anniversary celebrations!

Players can fulfil their need for speed at famous Sonic the Hedgehog locations such as Green Hills Zone and Chemical Plant Zone. Collect rings, dash past obstacles, defeat bosses and build momentum as you run toward a high score.

Players can also pick up a free Sonic the Hedgehog Character Creator item and celebrate Sonic’s 30th birthday this year by joining a special server event hosted by The Hive starting June 28! The two-week special server will feature Sonic-themed mini-games and additional surprises.
