Milestone, a leading global racing game developer and publisher based in Milan, and Feld Motor Sports, Inc., the worldwide leader in specialised arena and stadium-based motorsports entertainment, are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration. As just revealed in the Xbox Partner Preview showcase, the two powerhouse companies will once again join forces to launch Monster Jam® Showdown, the brand-new official Monster Jam video game, bringing to life the most action-packed motorsports event on four wheels. The game is a new entry in Milestone’s lineup and will be available in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Developed with Unreal Engine 5, Monster Jam Showdown takes advantage of cutting-edge technology to create lifelike environments as never seen before in a Milestone game, with lots of graphical details and an unprecedented light system, also empowering gameplay possibilities and the physics system. This will result in a fulfilling experience able to give players all the best of Monster Jam, and much more. In addition to enjoying all the action of the official competitions, players will be able to drive the iconic trucks in unique environments facing a variety of events which will make the fun as big and as loud as the sport itself. In particular, the game will feature a total of 66 official Monster Jam trucks (40 trucks will be included in the base game and 26 will be available through free or premium DLCs), and more than 140 paint outs to unlock and apply.

Aiming to create a faithful reproduction of Monster Jam live events, fans will compete in all three categories of venues, namely American football fields, baseball stadiums, and speedways, experiencing rectangular, diamond, and oval layouts. Beyond that, players will be able to drive their favourite Monster Jam trucks in three original environments inspired by the American great outdoors: the barren desert of Death Valley, the stunning forests and crystal rivers of Colorado, and the wintry, wild mountains of Alaska. From official competitions such as head-to-head racing and freestyle to specially designed events, a total of 10 different game modes will grant a robust mix of arcade experiences both online and offline, including split-screen.

To immediately deliver the feeling and excitement of mastering 1,500 horsepower mechanical machines, Monster Jam Showdown will feature arcade gameplay endowed with comprehensive and customisable driving aids. This way, everyone will be able to dive into the true spirit of Monster Jam by easily performing massive manoeuvres and dynamic stunts At the same time, Milestone’s technology and expertise will ensure truthful physics in order to deliver an approachable yet rewarding gaming experience.

Set to be released in 2024, Monster Jam Showdown will be available for all major gaming platforms.
