The world of LEGO® Fortnite expands this week with a series of updates, including a brand new social roleplay game launching in Fortnite on December 12, LEGO Fortnite Brick Life. LEGO Fortnite, the original survival crafting game we launched in December 2023, will also see a name change to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey alongside a major game update on December 10, as “LEGO Fortnite” becomes the new hub for all LEGO adventures in the Fortnite ecosystem.
On December 12 LEGO Fortnite Brick Life goes live, a brand new social roleplay game where up to 32 players can live it up in the heart of a bustling city in Fortnite. Players can explore vibrant areas throughout the city, customize their dream home, take on jobs and interact with friends and other players through text chat. LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is an ever-evolving experience and will receive new content updates over time including new jobs, resources and events.
On December 10, the Storm Chasers update goes live in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey introducing a new mighty boss for players to battle, the Storm King! The update introduces gameplay improvements including an overhaul of the progression system and introduction of all-new crafting systems.
Players can head to the LEGO Fortnite category in Discover to find LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, LEGO Fortnite Brick Life and all LEGO Fortnite Islands, both ones created by the LEGO Group like LEGO Tycoon: Tilted Towers and LEGO Chasers vs Hunters, as well as creator-made Islands.
This week’s launches are the latest to come from the long-term partnership between Epic Games and the LEGO Group to develop fun and safe digital spaces for children and families. In addition to the launch of LEGO Fortnite last December, the two released LEGO elements and tools to Fortnite creators in March 2024, expanding the offering of LEGO content in Fortnite and encouraging creativity, experimentation and collaboration through play.
