Halo Infinite Launch Date Announced, & New Age Of Empires IV Gameplay Shown During Gamescom Opening Night Live

Following yesterday’s gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream, today we made a couple of additional announcements during gamescom Opening Night Live, presented by Geoff Keighley.

Halo Infinite

  • Halo Infinite will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, on PC and on Game Pass on Dec 8, 2021
  • We are revealing a new limited-edition Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X, as well as a new Elite Series 2 wireless controller, both of which are available for pre-order now and will launch on Nov 15
  • Launch is just the start of the journey, as we will continue to deliver new content and experiences for Halo Infinite well into the future.

Age of Empires IV

  • Age of Empires IV is connecting history to gameplay through their campaign, offering players a series of in-game documentaries called “Hands on History,” allowing players to celebrate history and cultures in a fun, educational way
  • As part of Opening Night Live, we also showed a fresh look at our Rise of Moscow campaign and HRE civilization
