Fight With Vengeance As The Ocelotl, For Honor’s New Hero, On July 27
Today, Ubisoft announced that For Honor’s newest Hero, the Ocelotl, will release on July 27. A fierce but calculating warrior, the new Hero, inspired by the Aztec civilization, begins his quest for vengeance against the greedy Conquistador this season. Earlier this season in For Honor, the Conquistador Vela, the latest Hero Skin, stole a civilization’s riches and took their fiercest warrior as a prisoner. To free him, his people arrive in Heathmoor and avenge the terror the Conquistadors inflicted on their homeland. The prisoner, an Aztec hunter named Mixcoatl, ensures he earns his vengeance through his deadly combat style. Duel-wielding the Macuahuitl club and the Tepoztopilli spear, his ability lets him stalk his opponents and strike with overwhelming strength when he chooses. Halloween Arrives In For Honor, Bringing Full Cross-Play & New Event
Today, Ubisoft announced For Honor’s special Halloween-themed “Web of the Jorogumo” event will be available beginning October 20 to November 10. Alongside the event, Phase 2 of cross-platform play is now available, allowing group play with cross-platform friends or players thanks to the Ubisoft Connect ecosystem. With this update, For Honor’s crossplay rollout is complete, and players will be able to invite others to their group even if they are on a different platform. The “Web of the Jorogumo” event will start on October 20 and run for three weeks, bringing a frightening PVE game mode with four player co-op. Players can enjoy a variation of Market Town where they must work together to escort Meiko, capture points, fight against possessed samurai, and battle through Jorogumo’s sticky webs to encounter a terrifying conclusion. Today, Ubisoft revealed the content coming in For Honor’s Year 6 Season 3, The Demon Dagger, releasing on September 15. For centuries, an ancient cave was sealed off until the Cataclysm cracked it open, unleashing spirits and demons from Japanese folklore into Heathmoor. Inspired by Yokai legends, this season introduces a new Battle Pass and Battle Bundle, The Yokai Nightmare event, and brings back the Testing Grounds from September 15 to September 22 focusing on Valkyrie and Tiandi. Phase 2 of cross-platform play also launches later in the season. In the new season, players face off in Dominion on Temple Garden with ambiance and art updates that showcase how the Yokai have twisted the Myre, its inhabitants and hints at the true nightmare to come. Today, Ubisoft announced that For Honor’s Year 6 Season 2, Curse of the Scarab, will release on June 16. After the Great Cataclysm, Bolthorn used the stolen relics’ power in an attempt to save his people, but he unknowingly released a terrible curse upon Heathmoor in the process. Inspired by Egyptian mythology, this season introduces a new Hero Skin, a new Battle Pass and Battle Bundle, the Justice of the Pharaohs event, and brings back the Testing Grounds from June 30 to July 7 focusing on Guardbreak vulnerability changes. Today, Ubisoft announced the launch of For Honor Year 6 Season 1 Golden Age on March 17. The story begins with a relic, an ancient chalice, that takes players back to the Golden Age of Heathmoor to discover the origin of the Wardens through Lord Ramiel, the very first of their kind. Today, Ubisoft announced that the Jormungandr, a new feral warrior, will be joining the Viking Faction of For Honor® with the launch of Year 3, Season 3: Hulda for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices and Windows PC. Owners of the Year 3 pass will be immediately able to play as the Jormungandr starting August 1 at 12pm PT, while all other players can gain access to the new Hero on August 8 at 11am PT for 15,000 Steel.
