Global Gaming Lifestyle Festival DreamHack Returns To Melbourne in April – Tickets On Sale This Thursday

ESL FACEIT Group, the leading esports and video game entertainment company, today announced the return of DreamHack Melbourne, the three-day gaming lifestyle festival presented by ESL FACEIT Group and partner Transport Accident Commission (TAC), this April 26-28. Set to be held at Melbourne Park, DreamHack Melbourne will return for the third time after a multi-year agreement was reached between Visit Victoria, the primary tourism and events company for the State of Victoria, ESL FACEIT Group, and event promoters TEG Live.

Attendees at DreamHack Melbourne 2024 can expect a wide range of video game, esports, cosplay, and creator-focused content, including a massive gaming expo featuring the latest in tech and AAA games, an Artist Alley featuring local artists’ creations for sale, a massive Bring-Your-Own-Computer LAN tournament, and an esports stage in Margaret Court Arena featuring some of Australia’s best pro gamers.

Fans of cosplay can look forward to an expanded offering at this year’s festival, with a new ECG Qualifier offering qualification into the international Extreme Cosplay Gathering competition hosted in Europe. Canadian cosplay star and popular cosplay tutorial author, Kinpatsu Cosplay will also attend the festival as an official cosplay judge.

After a massively successful alley at last year’s festival, Artist Alley will also make a return to DreamHack Melbourne in 2024. Playing host to a wide mix of Australian, New Zealand, and International artists, Artist Alley celebrates self-authored art, offering attendees the opportunity to browse and purchase a wide range of unique artwork.

DreamHack Melbourne will host a wide range of esports competitions in 2024, from open-entry tournaments at the festival’s famous Bring-Your-Own-Computer LAN zone, to pro-tier competitions in Margaret Court Arena. ESL Challenger will return to pit some of the region’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams against each other over three days, whilst the League of Legends Circuit Oceania will host its Grand Final live on stage at DreamHack Melbourne.
