Sydney’s iconic Harry’s Café de Wheels has partnered with videogame legend Sonic the Hedgehog to offer a special meal to celebrate the Blue Blur’s latest video game: Sonic Frontiers, which is out today. The game, and other awesome prizes will be going to lucky winners who purchase the Sonic the Hedgehog deal from thirteen Harry’s locations throughout Sydney from 8 November until 11 December.
The meal is on offer for $16.90 and includes a ‘Hedgedog’ – Sonic’s favourite Chilli dog, topped with Onion Rings and a Cybershake with a true-blue colour, while Sonic Frontiers is available on all gaming platforms from all major retailers for RRP$99.95.
Darren MacBeth, Chief Hedgehog Wrangler and Managing Director at Five Star Games, distributor of Sonic videogames in Australia says:
“The chilli dog is canonically Sonic’s favourite meal in a history spanning over thirty years of games, comics, movies and TV series. To partner one icon with another has been a wonderful opportunity, one we hope Eggman doesn’t mess up for the rest of us.”
Daniel Beuthner, Chilli Dog Excellence Overseer and CEO at Harry’s Café de Wheels says:
“Sonic has a need for speed, and we’ve got the need to feed. It’s a match made in heaven… And what is better than grabbing Sonic’s Favourite dog from Harry’s who have been serving Famous Pies & Hot Dogs since 1945?”
In this new open-zone, action-adventure platforming experience, Sonic sets off on a new journey in a mysterious land in search of the Chaos Emeralds, where he’ll battle hordes of powerful enemies and explore a breathtaking world of action, adventure and mystery.
