Developer Zelart and publisher HypeTrain Digital are excited to announce that There Is No Light, their upcoming dark action-adventure, will be finally released in September 2022 on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
Meanwhile, an updated demo of the game has launched on Steam today — it will remain available for players throughout the whole Steam Next Fest, until June 20. New demo features two difficulty modes, new weapons, reworked combat system and controls, and many other minor tweaks.
Besides, There is No Light has taken part at the IGN’s Summer of Gaming event today, where its brand new animated trailer has been just premiered.
There is No Light is a pixel-art action-adventure set in a grim underground world ruled by the mysterious Church of the Great Hand, where the entire human population has been eradicated by a global catastrophe. Explore the game world, listen to the stories of survivors, vanquish hordes of bloodthirsty demonic creatures and fight deadly Bosses to fulfill your goal — save your child who has been taken away by the Church.
The game was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2020, where it was backed by more than 2k people and raised over $70 000.
