Today on Xbox Wire, Xbox announced a partnership with Epic Games to make Fortnite available on select browser-enabled devices for free with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) without the need for an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Now, Fortnite fans can play anywhere and across devices with only a Microsoft Account and a browser-enabled device, including an iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC with internet access. An Xbox Game Pass membership is not required to play.

Additionally, in an Xbox Wire post penned by Catherine Gluckstein, Head of Product & Strategy, Xbox Cloud Gaming, the team highlighted the growth and evolution of cloud gaming since its inception, including new details on how it’s performing.
