Today, Activision and Treyarch revealed that the new season of content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 begins today.

Called Operation Spectre Rising, the season features updates across the entire game, including a new Specialist, new outfits and personalisation items, new changes to the Blackout map, new game modes, and much more.

Operation Spectre Rising introduces Spectre as the latest Multiplayer Specialist and Blackout character. Drop into the Wetworks Map Update which has transformed Blackout following an explosion at Hydro Dam. Additionally, unlock new weapons, take on challenging new Zombies Gauntlets, and much more in Operation Spectre Rising.

Treyarch will also be hosting a livestream with members of the development team at 5:00AM AEST on Wednesday 1 May to talk about more details of the new season. Fans can tune in here.
